9 coins guide

The base game is built to lead into Hold the Jackpot

9 Coins uses a nine-position Wazdan layout with unusual game math. The base game does not pay ordinary prizes. The value of the game is concentrated in the Hold the Jackpot feature.

That changes how the base screen should be read. Ordinary symbols are not the main destination. The important pieces are Cash Infinity and other Bonus symbols that build toward the feature.

Cash Infinity is particularly important because it can become sticky before Hold the Jackpot begins. A symbol that lands in the base game can therefore remain on the grid and increase the amount of bonus state already present.

Cash Infinity carries information from the base game into the bonus

A Cash Infinity symbol can land and stick to its position. Wazdan also describes Cash Infinity symbols on the middle row as carrying values that become relevant in Hold the Jackpot.

This gives the base game memory. The next spin does not always begin from nine empty positions because a Cash Infinity symbol may already be waiting on the board.

That persistence is the reason the mechanic helps the game move toward Hold the Jackpot. It preserves part of the required bonus state, not asking every trigger attempt to begin from zero. The transition into the feature is gradual, not completely separate from ordinary play.

Hold the Jackpot contains several Bonus-symbol roles

Once Hold the Jackpot begins, the grid can contain Cash, Collector, Mystery and jackpot-related Bonus symbols. Cash symbols carry values. Collector has a different job: it gathers the values from Cash and Cash Infinity symbols and can multiply the collected total by a value from 1x to 9x.

Mystery symbols can transform into another Bonus-symbol type, excluding Cash Infinity. Wazdan also describes a separate mystery type that can change into one of the named jackpot symbols.

These roles mean that two occupied positions are not necessarily equivalent. The feature is not only measuring how full the grid becomes. It is also tracking what type of Bonus symbol occupies each position and what that symbol does to the current collection.

Filling the nine positions remains the clearest visual goal

Despite the additional symbol roles, the nine-position grid still provides a simple progress display. Every occupied Bonus position reduces the amount of open space. Filling the entire grid reaches the Grand jackpot state under the provider rules.

That visible goal helps organise the more complicated symbol interactions. Cash provides values. Collector aggregates and multiplies them. Mystery can change identity. The grid itself shows how close the feature is to being completely filled. The result is a collection game with both spatial progress and value transformation.

Why Cash Infinity changes the feel before the feature

A standard Hold the Jackpot game often becomes persistent only after the bonus starts. 9 Coins moves some of that persistence into the base game. Cash Infinity can already stick, so part of the feature state can be prepared before the transition. That changes the relationship between ordinary spins and the bonus. The base game is not simply a waiting room for a trigger. It can leave visible positions behind that later matter inside Hold the Jackpot. This is the strongest reason 9 Coins feels more specialised than a simpler collection title.

Reading the symbol roles in free play

Start by identifying a Cash Infinity symbol in the base game and see whether it remains on its position. When Hold the Jackpot begins, separate the Bonus symbols by function. Cash symbols contribute values. Collector gathers those values and applies its multiplier. Mystery can transform into another Bonus type.

Following those roles one at a time is more informative than treating every coin-like symbol as identical. The nine-position board makes the feature easy to survey because the whole collection state is visible at once.

9 Coins is an unusual Wazdan title because the base state is built around Bonus and Cash-style symbols rather than ordinary line wins.

A useful contrast: 9 Coins and 9 Burning Dragons

9 Burning Dragons uses the same broad Hold the Jackpot family but keeps the feature much simpler. Three Bonus symbols open a three-re-spin round. New Bonus symbols stick and reset the counter, while collections of six, seven, eight or nine symbols map to the named jackpot levels.

9 Coins adds persistence before the bonus through Cash Infinity and gives several Bonus symbols different jobs once Hold the Jackpot is active. Feature density is what separates them. 9 Burning Dragons focuses on filling the grid before the re-spins expire. 9 Coins turns the grid into both a collection board and a value-manipulation system.
