Cluster wins create the first part of the loop
Dreamzone uses cluster-based mechanics. Three or more matching symbols connected side by side form a win, the winning symbols explode, and the remaining symbols drop down to create another chance on the refreshed grid.
That avalanche-style loop is only the first half of the game. Winning drops can also collect Dream Features, so a successful sequence is doing two things at once: it can produce another board state and it can build a reserve of effects for later.
ELK allows up to five Dream Features to be collected during a winning drop. Those stored features become important when the board stops winning.
Dream Features are a rescue system for non-winning drops
The Dream Feature set includes Wilds, Symbol Explode, Symbol Upgrade and Symbol Scatter. These effects are saved during winning drops and used on non-winning drops to help keep the avalanche sequence alive.
Each feature changes the board differently. Wilds can improve the chance of connecting symbols. Symbol Explode clears material from the grid. Symbol Upgrade strengthens the symbol set. Symbol Scatter redistributes symbols across the board.
The shared purpose is continuation. A non-winning drop is not always the end of the sequence because the game can release one or more stored Dream Features and give the board another chance to change. The effects are most useful when read by consequence: Explode creates space, Upgrade changes symbol quality, Scatter changes distribution and Wilds improve connectivity. Their names matter less than the way each one can turn a stalled board into another attempt at a cluster.
The bonus begins with three Free Drops and a 2x multiplier
The bonus game starts with three Free Drops and a 2x Win Multiplier. Clearing the grid moves the feature to the next level.
Each new level doubles the multiplier: 2x becomes 4x, then 8x, 16x and so on, with the provider listing progression all the way to 512x. The jump only occurs when the grid is cleared, so a stronger multiplier requires a concrete board event instead of the simple passage of another drop.
That creates a clear link between board control and value progression. The feature does not raise the multiplier simply because another spin occurred. Clearing the grid is what moves the bonus into a stronger level.
Dream Features still matter when the multiplier becomes the headline
The multiplier ladder can look like the obvious star of the bonus, but it only makes sense in the context of the cluster and Dream Feature loop. Winning clusters clear symbols, while the features gathered during those successful drops create tools that can be used when the next board no longer wins.
The systems therefore feed each other. The board creates feature resources, those resources can keep the board moving, and continued board progress can raise the multiplier. Since up to five Dream Features can be collected during a winning drop, a productive board can build a meaningful reserve before the game reaches a dead state. That reserve is what gives the next non-winning drop a chance to become part of the same longer sequence instead of an immediate stop.
Mystic Orbs takes a more visible approach to stored features
Mystic Orbs offers a same-studio contrast: it uses a 5x5 grid with a separate feature row that can hold up to five effects. A Wild Orb activates the feature directly above it, while a Charged Wild Orb activates the whole feature row. Its bonus can open by collecting five Orbs or through a Bonus symbol in that row, and the bonus uses a persistent multiplier.
Dreamzone organises its resources around timing rather than a visible activation row. Dream Features are collected during winning drops and saved for a later non-winning state. Mystic Orbs instead exposes the available effects above the grid and ties their activation to Orb positions. Both games can build a longer sequence from extra feature effects, but the information you follow is different: Dreamzone asks when stored tools are collected and spent, while Mystic Orbs asks which feature-row positions become active.
In free play, separate those states in Dreamzone. First watch a winning drop collect Dream Features. Then note when a non-winning drop causes one or more of them to be used. If the bonus opens, track the grid clear that moves the multiplier from its 2x starting level toward the next multiplier level in the ladder shown on screen. Keeping collection, rescue and multiplier progression separate makes the feature flow easier to read across the bonus sequence.
