Le Bandit

Le Bandit is Hacksaw Gaming's 6x5 Cluster Pays game built around cascades and Golden Squares. Wins can clear symbols for another drop, winning positions become Golden Squares, and a Rainbow can activate those squares to reveal coin values, multipliers and Pots of Gold. Three escalating free-spin features extend that same system.

Top casino options

Game-linked and owner-controlled routes appear first. Every card keeps the Rome review link and uses Rome's legacy /go/ redirect with click counter for the primary casino visit. Fallback reviews do not imply that Le Bandit is available there.

Rome first qualifies the route, then shows why a casino can be a better fit for this game. Our choice is owner-selected only from exact-game verified rows; Pick is a separate commercial placement and never implies game availability by itself.

Why these factors?
Evidence-led fallbackNo game-specific differentiator is publication-safe yetRome keeps the current rows at their existing evidence level and leaves RTP, bonus and review differences neutral until separately verified.

Criteria are selected from the current evidence projection, not filled to a fixed checklist. Missing operator-specific RTP, bonus or review evidence stays neutral. Owner placement and click signals do not upgrade availability evidence.

CASINO CHOICE

What makes a casino a better fit for Le Bandit?

Rome starts with whether the exact game is actually evidenced for the relevant market. Provider-level availability can be useful, but it stays clearly separate from an exact-title confirmation.

Rome does not infer an RTP or game version for a casino from a generic listing. An operator-specific configuration must be separately verified before it can affect the comparison. The listed volatility (3 / 5) describes the game, not the casino, so it is not used to call one operator better than another.

Bonus size is not used by itself. A bonus only becomes a game-fit factor when current terms show whether Le Bandit or Hacksaw Gaming games are eligible and what contribution, wagering, max-bet or exclusion rules apply. Rome can also reuse current casino-review evidence on withdrawals, payments, verification, market status and support. Missing factors are left neutral rather than guessed.

This is the scalable difference: the guide explains the durable decision logic, while the live Compare casinos block can change its eligible casino rows as the evidence changes.

GAME OVERVIEW

What is Le Bandit?

Le Bandit is a six-reel, five-row Cluster Pays game starring Smokey, Hacksaw Gaming's raccoon thief, in a stylised Paris setting. The provider lists volatility at 3/5, a 10,000x maximum win and four RTP configurations: 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%.

Those numbers matter, but the defining structure is mechanical rather than statistical. A win can start a cascade, the positions behind winning symbols can become Golden Squares, and a Rainbow can activate those squares into a second layer of coin and special-symbol interactions.

SUPER CASCADES

Winning symbols make room for another drop

Hacksaw says that after a winning combination, all contributing regular paying symbols are removed. Any matching symbol types visible elsewhere on the reels are removed as well, and new symbols tumble into the empty positions.

The process repeats for as long as new wins continue to form. That makes the cascade the first layer of the game state: a single paid combination can lead into another evaluation without starting a completely new spin.

GOLDEN SQUARES

Wins leave marked positions behind

Every position that formed part of a win becomes highlighted with a Golden Square after the winning symbol disappears. The square therefore records where a successful symbol was removed, adding a positional layer on top of the cascade sequence.

If a Rainbow is present on the same spin, the Golden Squares activate. They can then reveal Bronze, Silver or Gold coin values or special symbols such as Four-Leaf Clovers and Pots of Gold. This is why Le Bandit cannot be explained fully by saying it is 'a cascade slot': the cascade creates the marked positions used by the next mechanic.

COINS & CLOVERS

Activated squares can reveal values and multipliers

Hacksaw lists Bronze coin multipliers from 0.2x to 4x, Silver values from 5x to 20x and Gold values up to 500x. Four-Leaf Clovers can multiply adjacent cells, including Pots of Gold, by values from 2x to 10x.

Those values belong to the Golden Squares activation sequence. They are not a separate jackpot table and should not be read as typical outcomes. Rome keeps them in context so the numbers explain the mechanic rather than becoming promotional headline figures.

POTS OF GOLD

Pots collect the values already on the grid

After Coins and Clovers have resolved, Pots of Gold collect the aggregated values of visible Coins and other Pots. Hacksaw says Pots activate from top to bottom and left to right, and multiple Pots can collect one another's stored value.

After the last Pot has collected, Golden Squares can reactivate for another round of reveals. That creates the second repeating loop on the page: cascades can repeat while wins continue, and a Golden Squares activation can itself cycle through another reveal after the Pots resolve.

LUCK OF THE BANDIT

Three FS symbols start the first bonus tier

Landing three FS symbols in the base game triggers Luck of the Bandit. Golden Squares remain highlighted between spins until a Rainbow activates them, so the position memory lasts longer than it does in an ordinary base-game spin.

The feature can retrigger: two FS symbols award two extra spins and three FS symbols award three extra spins. Landing four FS symbols upgrades the round into All That Glitters Is Gold, carrying the current free spins plus four additional spins into the next tier.

ALL THAT GLITTERS

Four FS symbols start a 12-spin persistent-square feature

All That Glitters Is Gold starts with 12 free spins when four FS symbols land in the base game. In this tier, Golden Squares remain highlighted throughout the entire bonus round and can be activated repeatedly.

The same retrigger pattern remains available. The practical difference from Luck of the Bandit is therefore persistence: marked squares survive across the feature instead of waiting only until their next Rainbow activation.

END OF THE RAINBOW

Five FS symbols unlock the highest documented bonus tier

Landing five FS symbols triggers Treasure at the End of the Rainbow with 12 free spins. Golden Squares stay highlighted throughout the feature and Hacksaw says a Rainbow is guaranteed on every spin.

The provider also states that this bonus cannot be purchased. That makes it different from the lower bonus tiers exposed through the game's purchase menu.

BONUS ACCESS

Bonus Buy and FeatureSpins are separate access tools

Hacksaw lists a Bonus Buy menu for direct access to bonus rounds and BonusHunt FeatureSpins, which increase the stated chance of triggering a bonus by five times for a fee of three times the stake. Availability of paid feature access can vary by market and operator configuration.

Those tools change how a feature is reached; they do not change the evidence rules for Rome's casino routes. A provider feature page does not prove that a particular casino currently offers this exact title or every optional mode.

RTP & VOLATILITY

Multiple RTP configurations are part of the current game data

Hacksaw currently publishes four RTP configurations for Le Bandit: 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%. The game is listed at volatility 3/5 with Cluster Pays and a maximum win of 10,000x.

The presence of multiple RTPs is important. Rome should not present 96.34% as though every implementation uses that setting. If you encounter the game at a casino, the actual configured RTP needs to be checked in that implementation's own game information.

DEMO STATUS

Why Rome is not loading the old demo route

Rome's current evidence is strong enough for the game guide, but the stored legacy launch route has not been requalified as a current public demo. The embedded player therefore remains unavailable.

That separation is intentional. Mechanics come from the live provider page; a working demo requires a separately verified launch URL. Rome will not turn an old staging-family route into a live claim simply to make the player look complete.

CHARACTER

Le Bandit layers two kinds of persistence

The useful Character is the way the game carries state forward. Cascades preserve the spin while new symbols fall into cleared spaces; Golden Squares preserve the memory of where winning symbols were removed; bonus tiers then extend how long those marked positions stay active.

That layered persistence is more informative than the Paris-raccoon theme on its own. Smokey gives the game a recognisable face, but Super Cascades and Golden Squares are what distinguish the structure.

COMPARE

Where to continue from Le Bandit

Le Bandit currently has no evidence-backed one-to-one related-game route in this Wave-1 profile, so Rome does not invent a similarity card just to fill the section. Use the catalogue to compare it with other cascade, cluster or provider titles as those relationships become qualified.

The useful filters are format and mechanic, not a generic 'similar games' label with no explanation.

QUICK QUESTIONS

Le Bandit: the practical answers

What happens after a win? Contributing regular symbols and matching symbol types are removed, new symbols tumble in, and the cascade continues while wins keep forming. What are Golden Squares? They mark positions used in wins and can be activated by a Rainbow to reveal Coins or special symbols.

Does every version use 96.34% RTP? No. Hacksaw currently lists four RTP configurations, so the implementation-specific game information matters. Does Rome currently have a qualified free demo? No; the launch remains on hold.
