GAME GUIDE

Queen of riches guide

Queen of Riches builds on variable Megaways reels

Queen of Riches uses six reels and Big Time Gaming's Megaways system, with up to 117,649 ways to win. Reel heights can expand to seven symbols, so the amount of active space changes with the Megaways state.

The title adds two mechanics that work directly on that variable layout: Full Reel Wilds and Reel Clone. That makes the board itself the centre of the game. Megaways changes how many positions are active. Full Reel Wilds can control an entire vertical section. Reel Clone can make several reels share the same pattern.

Full Reel Wilds can cover reels 2 to 6

Cleopatra Full Reel Wilds can appear on reels 2 to 6. A Full Reel Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols across the whole height of its reel. Because a reel can contain up to seven symbols, one Wild can occupy a large amount of the visible board.

Big Time Gaming also gives these Full Reel Wilds random multipliers up to 7x. When more than one Full Reel Wild contributes, their multipliers multiply each other.

This creates a strong interaction between coverage and value. A single Wild changes one entire reel. Several Full Reel Wilds can change several reels at once, while their multipliers can also combine.

Reel Clone copies a pattern across the board

Reel Clone can randomly make between two and six reels identical. That is a different kind of transformation from a Full Reel Wild. The Wild replaces one vertical area with a substitute symbol. Reel Clone copies the symbol pattern from one reel across other reels.

The effect becomes especially important because Full Reel Wilds can also be cloned. If a reel containing a Full Reel Wild is used in the cloned pattern, the Wild state can spread to additional reels. Big Time Gaming describes the possibility of multiple cloned multiplier Wild reels appearing together.

The two mechanics therefore interact naturally. Reel Clone changes how many reels share a pattern, while Full Reel Wilds change the content and value of those patterns.

Megaways makes the cloned area variable

The reel heights are still part of the Megaways engine. That means a cloned pattern exists inside a board whose vertical size can change. A clone is not being applied to one permanently fixed 6xN grid. The current reel heights determine how much symbol space is available.

This adds another level of board transformation without requiring a separate bonus screen. Queen of Riches can create a materially different reel state during ordinary play through the combination of variable reel height, cloned patterns and Full Reel Wilds. The game is feature-heavy even before any separate bonus mode becomes relevant.

Reading the interaction is more useful than counting features

A Full Reel Wild, Reel Clone and Megaways reel change can all happen within the same broad reel system. The easiest way to follow the title is to separate their jobs.

Megaways controls how tall the reels are and how many ways are active. Reel Clone controls whether several reels share the same symbol pattern. Full Reel Wilds control substitution and multiplier value across complete reels.

Once those roles are clear, the more complex states become easier to read. A cloned Full Reel Wild is simply the point where the pattern-copying mechanic and the Wild mechanic intersect.

Seeing Reel Clone and Full Reel Wilds interact

Begin with the variable reel heights. Watch how the number of symbols on the reels changes from one spin to the next.

Then focus on a Reel Clone. Identify how many reels are copied and compare their symbol patterns.

When a Full Reel Wild appears, note both its reel coverage and its multiplier. If Reel Clone copies a Wild reel, the interaction between the two mechanics becomes visible immediately.

That sequence explains more about Queen of Riches than a list of headline values. The title is primarily about changing large sections of the reel set.

A useful contrast: Queen of Riches and Dragon Born

Dragon Born is the most useful comparison because it was Big Time Gaming's first Megaways title and keeps the reel engine much closer to the centre of the experience. Dragon Born uses six dynamic reels and develops the format in Free Spins by locking the game at seven symbols per reel. Queen of Riches starts from the same broad variable-reel idea but adds Reel Clone and multiplier Full Reel Wilds to ordinary play.

The contrast shows how quickly the Megaways concept could be extended. Dragon Born demonstrates the variable reel system directly. Queen of Riches uses that system as the foundation for board-wide copying and Wild interactions.
