Totem Thunder (Inspired Gaming) Review: A Hidden Gem in the Desert of Slot Machines

A Journey Through the Native American Plains Totem Thunder, developed by Inspired Gaming, takes us on a thrilling adventure through the native American plains. The game's unique blend of features and bonuses will keep you engaged and entertained as you spin the reels. With an RTP of 95.01%, this slot machine offers decent returns, especially when its powerful features kick in.

A Simple yet Effective Design

At first glance, Totem Thunder's design may seem simple and unimpressive. The 5x3 reel set is backgrounded by a serene North American landscape, complete with tribal settlements, rivers, hills, and mountains. While the graphics are not cutting-edge, they effectively evoke the game's theme and setting.

A Medium-High Volatility Math Model

With a betting range of €0.2 to €50 per spin, Totem Thunder caters to players with varying bankrolls. The medium-high volatility math model ensures that wins are not too frequent but can be substantial when they do occur. Be prepared for some dry spells, but the excitement of hitting a big win will make it all worthwhile.

A Paytable Worth Exploring

The paytable features 10 regular symbols, split into high and low-value categories. The premium symbols include tents, skulls, axes, bows, and headdresses, which can reward up to 5x the stake for five-of-a-kind combinations. Three wooden face totems act as Wild symbols, substituting for other regular symbols and helping you achieve wins.

Features That Will Keep You Coming Back

Totem Thunder's features are designed to keep players engaged and excited: * **Scatter Symbols**: Appear on reels 1, 3, and 5, triggering the Free Spins bonus when three instances appear simultaneously. * **Free Spins Bonus**: Awards 10 free spins with expanding Wild stacks. During this feature, an extra Wild symbol is added to wild stacks on reels 2, 3, and 4, increasing the number of paylines up to 3,087. * **Gamble Feature**: Offers players a chance to increase their winnings or activate the Free Spins bonus after every win in the base game.
